Remote for vista media centre

The Remote is supposedly an "In-air cursor control". Overall Review: If you don't actually need an actual mouse and your cursor control needs are fairly minimal, then the in-air gyro-remote will do the trick. I was looking for an actual mouse and keyboard and remote, and I found the way this was advertised on here a bit misleading. Had to send it in for an exchange. Pros: The other guy must have gotten a bad remote because i have all of my units programmed just fine into this remote. The last couple of buttons that did not program with the code, you can easily program manually with the learn button.

This remote is so freakin awesome, i can control the IR lighting in my house with it.. Cons: This remote is only good for about 1 year. A design flaw on the small buttons causes them to get very mushy after 8 months and eventually they stop working.

My second remote is already starting to get hard to use. Not to worry though, they know of this issue and replaced my remote in 2 days.. Yes 2 days.. I live one hour from Gyration.

After talking to one of the nice reps at gyration, he told me that they would most likely replace this second remote with the new GYRUS model.

The mode buttons have been spaced farther apart and supposedly do not wear out. They have a very good warranty program.

Overall Review: The keyboard works perfect. What can i say, it's a keyboard. There is some lag on both the keyboard and remote, this is to be expected from any wireless device.
