Bully game wiki

She has a mohawk, purple makeup and facial piercings, and her skirt and shirt are both much skimpier. On the website she was said to be one of the Punks , supporting the argument that the Punks slowly evolved to become the Townies. The website later changed her description to say she was a dropout.

Zoe is native to the town of Bullworth. She lives in the largest house in Blue Skies Industrial Park , a once-nice two story with a front porch. Very little is known about her home life, although she apparently has a turbulent relationship with her mom and argues with her frequently.

Nothing is known about her dad. She attended Bullworth Academy, but she was expelled after complaining about being sexually harassed by Mr. Burton the year before Jimmy arrived. According to unused dialogue, she and Mandy were once friends.

Zoe is one of the more down to earth people in the game. She and Jimmy seem to have a lot in common; they both come from tough home lives and tend to be credited as being troublemakers, but are both feisty, gutsy kids who enjoy fighting and are prepared to stand up to corruption. She seems to be intelligent and likes to read, though she claims this is strictly out of boredom. She complains about how everyone in Bullworth is "fake", and has personal grudges against Mr.

Burton and Tad Spencer. She states that she prefers to date older men and junkies, thinking that they're more "romantic", but she eventually develops feelings for Jimmy and dates him in the end. Although she's not a full-fledged tomboy, Zoe has several likes and interests that aren't stereotypically girly. Her idea of a good date is smashing up the inventory of Spencer Shipping, she laughs when someone throws a dead rat, and her dialogue when threatening and fighting indicate that she enjoys it.

English , for example, is a word scramble minigame, and as Jimmy completes the level, he learns to apologize to bullies, deliver better taunts, apologize to Prefects and finally to apologize to the police. Jimmy has a multitude of weapons available, although they tend to run along the lines of things a school boy might actually attain, such as slingshots, bags of marbles, stink bombs, and later in the game, a bottle rocket launcher and a spud cannon.

He also has an assortment of vehicles to operate — mainly bicycles with different abilities, but also a moped, a go-kart, a skateboard and on rare occasions, a lawn mower. The game takes place at Bullworth Academy, a fictional independent boarding school in the New England area of the United States. Jimmy ends up enrolled in the school when his newly married mother and fifth stepfather go on a year-long honeymoon cruise.

The school is located in the also fictional town of Bullworth, which resembles Connecticut this would also explain the high prevalence of 'Old money' and 'Nouveau Riche' influences. The school itself is a classical neo-gothic design and is similar to many other public schools and colleges in the United Kingdom and New England, in particular Fettes College in Edinburgh.

The timeline of the game is vastly unclear. The developers deliberately included influences of various periods of time to make the game more inclusive and less of a period piece. Cars and architecture feature design influences going back to the s, s, or s but there are also other objects hinting at a setting sometime in the s. Because of the contradicting factors, it is quite impossible to pin the game as taking place in a specific era.

This was specifically intended by the developers, who wanted to create a timeless atmosphere to allow players to relate the game with their own days in school. The game focuses on Bullworth's newest student, Jimmy Hopkins. As he advances through his academic career at Bullworth Academy, he may interact with the school's students and teachers, as well as people from the neighboring districts, many of whom will give him errands to complete.

He is greeted by Gary Smith , a scheming, unstable sociopath and Pete Kowalski , a shy student who has yet to make any friends. Jimmy has to navigate his way through the five cliques at the school — the Bullies, Nerds, Preppies, Greasers and Jocks — as well as the Townie kids, the school faculty and all the other adult townsfolk. Unlike other games from Rockstar, no two characters in Bully are the same, and every character has their own name, personality, and appearance.

Artwork of Bully, the main antagonist, Gary right , and the main protagonist, Jimmy left. Most of the voice actors of the teenagers and kids were in their late teens and early twenties to make the game's dialogue feel as realistic as possible. The game's voice cast are made mostly of 'off-the-street' actors and actresses, some of which had prior roles in other Rockstar titles like Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas , or credits in television programmes.

He also has a ginger buzz cut, and brown eyes. At the beginning of the game, he wears a brown jacket over a white t-shirt, with faded blue jeans and white sneakers. His school uniform consists of a blue Bullworth vest over a white shirt with khaki school slacks. His pajamas consist of a dark blue t-shirt with a flaming yellow skull on the front and on the back that appears to probably be the tag of the shirt, pale yellow sweat pants with undone ties, and white socks.

His athletic uniform consists of a yellow t-shirt with the Bullhorns logo and khaki school shorts and sneakers. Over the course of the game, Jimmy can obtain a wide variety of clothes, haircuts, and tattoos. This allows the player to either have him adopt the look of one of the cliques, or make his own unique fashion statement. He generally wears his clothing more disordered than intended; for example, he wears his school uniform with the collar unbuttoned and unfolded, and his white shirt is untucked.

Jimmy's hair is naturally red--when buying haircuts, the red cuts are always cheaper because he doesn't have to pay for dyeing. In early screenshots, Jimmy was somewhat uglier. He had fewer freckles, a larger and red nose, and ears that stuck out. He also wore gray slacks and boots instead of khaki slacks and sneakers. Jimmy's only true friend at the school is Pete Kowalski. Jimmy is not always respectful towards Pete, but in the end he defends and sticks up for Pete.

In return Pete provides a voice of reason for Jimmy, figuring out solutions to Jimmy's problems when fisticuffs and violence don't suffice. When Bully was first announced and the first four screenshots were released, it appeared that Jimmy Hopkins then unnamed would be a player controlled antagonist, taking the role of the titular bully.

Of the four screenshots, one featured Jimmy firing a slingshot, another featured him kicking another student, and the third featured him giving someone a swirly. By the next update on the game, which was a few years later, Jimmy was revealed to be a standad protagonist who stood up to the bullies. It is unclear whether he was originally designed as an antagonist, or if Rockstar released the pictures they did to give a false initial impression of the game to build controversy.

Jimmy was designed to be an everykid. Lead Producer of Bully , Jeronimo Barerra , claimed that what he wanted to do with Bully was to recreate the state of being a kid, and to make it fun. Jimmy and Holden share a background of having a difficult home life and being thrown out of multiple private schools. Jimmy even uses Holden's favorite derogatory term, "phony", to describe his new stepfather. Bush did not remember the previous voice actor's name, however. Jimmy is dumped at Bullworth Academy by his often remarried mother and his new stepfather , who Jimmy describes as a "rich old phony", whilst they go on a year long honeymoon cruise.
